CubeSat

The DCLab is currently working on a project to develop a CubeSat. An engineering model CubeSat has been made. The research team has successfully implemented a quaternion-based PID attitude controller using DC motors, both in simulations and real-world experiments with an air-bearing apparatus. The project is now at the stage of conducting numerous additional experiments. An interesting research topic is to improve the current attitude control by implementing an adaptive controller. This approach could enhance performance and robustness, especially in dynamic and uncertain environments, and enable more complex maneuvers using brushless motors.
