About Us

The Strike Rocket Team, a dedicated group from the Institute of Technology of Cambodia, operates under the guidance of the Dynamics and Control Laboratory within the Department of Industrial and Mechanical Engineering. Our mission is to foster and initiate space engineering in Cambodia, with the ambitious goal of establishing the country as one of Asia’s spaceports.

The team has successfully launched a rocket to an altitude exceeding 50 meters using solid fuel. This achievement is supported by a comprehensive simulation model developed by the research team. The model encompasses the entire process, from designing the rocket motor based on thrust requirements to creating a flight model that estimates altitude. Additionally, the team has developed a 6 Degrees of Freedom (DOF) flight model that incorporates aerodynamic forces.

Building on these successes, the team is now eager to advance its development by integrating a sophisticated control system. This system will combine semi-active control fins and thrust vector control, along with autonomous navigation and guidance capabilities. These advancements aim to enhance the rocket’s stability, precision, and overall performance, paving the way for more ambitious space engineering projects in Cambodia.
